DSL (Digital Subscriber Line) service is a high-speed connection to the Internet. DSL allows your computer to connect to the Internet at speeds up to 30 times faster than standard dial-up connections. DSL also runs over your existing phone line so you can talk on the phone while surfing the net. Connecting to the internet is also much faster using DSL service.

If you're a Pioneer Telephone subscriber, your High-Speed Internet will be delivered via DSL technology, where available.

Wireless High-Speed Internet is accessed through a radio frequency as opposed to a fiber or cable connection. This spectrum does not require line-of-site and can penetrate foliage. This wireless broadband system will deliver bandwidth that meets or exceeds current DSL service levels.

Fixed Wireless is only available to customers who live outside the Pioneer Telephone footprint. Pioneer is now able to provide high-speed Internet in Tuttle, Piedmont, Cashion and Fairview. Wireless Internet maximum downstream is 1.5Mb and upstream is 512K. Minimum download speed is 256K.
